Just a quick post to let everyone know the awaited Burgers for Relief campaign 2020 will be postponed until 2021. We were so looking forward to partnering with restaurants this year and growing our fundraiser, however due to COVID-19 we need all hands on deck here at Crisis Centre. All of our residential programs have stayed open during the pandemic to ensure our community members have the services they need to get by. Wishing you all the best this fall!
It has been brought to our attention that google has listed the homeless shelter as "temporarily closed" while we wait for them to fix their mistake I wanted to post to ensure everyone is aware the shelter is open for admissions. You will be screened at the door using the Ontario Governments COVID-19 screener. If you have questions about the services offered at the shelter please call 705-474-1031. We are open 24 hours a day.
Crisis Centre North Bay would like to thank participating restaurants and special donors that contributed to the Burgers for Relief campaign. $7118.20 was raised during this campaign, all monies will go towards the renovation costs for the kitchen at North Bay’s only 24/7 co-ed homeless shelter-operated by Crisis Centre.
Thank you to everyone in the community who came out to support the Crisis Centre and to the 18 restaurants who participated in 2019 to make this campaign a huge success! Many thanks to Caisse Alliance and the New Ontario Brewing Company for their sponsorship and Pizza Hut and The Sub Place for the donation of prizes.
Stay tuned Burgers for Relief 2020 will be happening in September this year!!
The Home Depot Canada Foundation is dedicated to taking action to prevent and put an end to youth homelessness in Canada through The Orange Door Project fundraising campaign.

Crisis Centre North Bay is bringing you “Burgers for Relief” a week of special burgers created by local restaurants all in support of raising funds for a new kitchen for North Bays only co-ed homeless shelter. Last year Crisis Centre served approx. 30,000 meals in a kitchen in dire need of upgrading. Burgers for Relief runs from October 3-9, 2019. STAY TUNED!!
The Orange Door Project Campaign is The Home Depot Canada’s fundraising campaign to help prevent and end youth homelessness. From May 30 until June 23, 2019 North Bay customers can donate $2 at checkout in their local Home Depot store or on OrangeDoorProject.ca in support of Crisis Centre North Bay. Locally both the Four Elms Program and the Futures Residence benefit from the funds raised. Contributions from this fundraiser assist in making improvements within these programs allowing them to provide quality support services in a safe and welcoming environment for youth experiencing issues of housing instability and homelessness.

Thank you for your continued support!
Please contact 705-472-6204 x 202 if you have questions.
Again, this year Home Depot North Bay chose Crisis Centre to be the recipients of funds raised through their Orange Door Holiday Campaign to end youth homelessness. The North Bay store came in first place for funds raised across Canada!!! Our 10-bed Transitional Housing program (Futures Residence on Cassells Street) for homeless youth is in of many renovations. This funding will assist us in providing a safe, well maintained home for youth. Thank you Home Depot!
