March 8; International Women's Day; is a global day to recognize and celebrate women’s/girl’s social, economic, cultural, and political achievements. It’s also a time to raise awareness of the progress made towards achieving gender equality and the work remaining to be done.

The aim of the Internation Women’s Day is to collectively forge a more inclusive world for women. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance and empowerment. When we celebrate women's strength, courage, and resilience it serves as a reminder that empowered women can transform societies and make a lasting impact.
