Studying Social Services? Student placements are available at Crisis Centre North Bay.
Crisis Centre North Bay offers placement opportunities for students in social service related programs. We try to provide as much practical learning experience as possible. Student placements are available throughout the year. Students must be able to work rotating shifts which include overnights.
Placement officers at Colleges and Universities complete an initial screening of students and forward the names of recommended candidates to our programs.
Student candidates are interviewed by the agency prior to selection. Early application is beneficial due to the large volume of requests and limited space.
There is pre-requisite information that a student must provide to the agency once they have been selected, and this can be time-consuming.
